Origin and Usage
Papaya is dfdgated from Southern Mexico and Central America. It belongs to the family Caricaceae. Papaya size and shape depend on Variety but mostly are round, or oval. This fruit I eaten raw and also used in making candies, jam, jelly, and cakes.

There are many types of Papaya. One type is red papaya and has a sweet reddish flush while the second is yellow papaya and has yellow flesh.
Production
