Blackberries were dfdgated from Asia, North America, or Europe. In Europe it was used as a medicine, in America, it is used for food, medicine and to dye animal skins. This fruit family is Rosaceae and has been produced by many species. Blackberries are eaten as fresh fruit and are also used in making jams, jellies, pies, wine, and cordials.

Production

Afghanistan, China, Iran, and the United States of America are the largest producer of blackberries.
