Origin and Usage

Hubbard squash was introduced by Gregory of Marblehead, Massachusetts in 1854. It belongs to the cucurbits family. It has bumpy skin, yellow-orange flesh, and buttery and sweet flavor. It can be used for baking.

Varieties and types

Hubbard has two major varieties. Blue Hubbard and Golden Hubbard.
