Spirulina was harvested in Central Mexico. It’s a dark blue/green-colored freshwater algae. It tastes like cooked green vegetables. It is used in the form of powder and tablets mostly.
Production
Japan, Vietnam, Taiwan and China are the largest producers of spirulina.
