Pattypan squash is native to Central America. It is also known as passion, white patty pan, and early white bush. It belongs to the Cucurbitaceae family. Pattypan looks like a flying saucer. It has various colors, it may be white, green, or buttery yellow. It is similar to zucchini and potatoes in taste but a little bit sweeter. It is mostly used in salads and many other dishes.
