Origin
Kiwifruit is native to central and eastern China. In the 20th century, it was harvested in New Zealand for the first time. It is also k known as Chinese gooseberry. It has a thin fibrous, tart light brown skin and golden flesh with black tiny rows of edible seeds. This fruit became popular during World War 2 and then became commonly exported. Kiwi fruit is ovoid shape covered with brown fuzzy skin and different sizes depending on the variety.
Types
It has several types. Some most popular types and verities are Fuzzy kiwifruits, Kiwi berries, and, Actinidia chinensis. Actinidia chinensis is also known as golden kiwifruit.
Production
