Origin and Usage
Clementine is a citrus hybrid that developed accidentally in Misserghin, French Algeria in the garden of Clement Rodier. It is a hybrid between willow leaf mandarin orange and sweet orange. The skin is deep orange color. They are easy to peel, typically juicy, less aromatic, and sweet. Clementine tends to be a bit more oval than tangerines.
