Elephant garlic was rediscovered by Jim Nicholls in 1941. It belongs to the family Amaryllidaceae. It has a shape like a bulb. It can use as raw but mostly it is used in cooked applications.

Elephant garlic has two types. One is hardneck while the other is softneck.
Production
