Celery is native to Mediterranean areas.it was probably the first food used by the French. It belongs to the Umbellifers. Celery is a green and cannon-like vegetable. Celery leaves are used in stir-fries and soups. They are also used for pickling and punching up sauces.

The main three types are yellow (leaf celery) green (pascal celery) and celeriac.
